To be clear, this isn’t about how you LOOK, but how you FEEL. With that… I’M DONE WITH MY DETOX! I wrapped up right before Thanksgiving, how perfect right?! No, but seriously I NEVER thought I could do this detox right now… 5 months postpartum, building a house, running 2 businesses, taking care of 3 crazy kids… COVID shut downs…but actually all of my reasons NOT to, were the exact reasons I needed to.
I found myself putting my nutrition {the key to ALL health}, on the back burner because of all of the “things” I had to do. I needed a hard reset to stop winging the meals because I had nothing planned. To stop grabbing coffee before water. To stop snacking all day. To stop eating a cheesy roll up as a “meal” because it was quick and easy. I had to stop convincing myself that eating healthy while being busy was impossible.
It was quite the opposite. Yes prepping the food was a chore {especially since I prepped for me and Tyler- who lost 15lbs by the way, so stay tuned for a shirtless sneak of him in my stories soon… jk, kinda}… I found myself with LESS stress over what I was going to eat and when. Less dishes during the week. I just KNEW what was coming at all times. I actually had ZERO cravings until the end when I drove by my favorite taco spot. ZERO {AND I had my period during it so that’s like a miracle}.
All in all I lost 5.2lbs {I’m 5’3}, all in the hardest places for me to lose- my back, butt, and legs. But what I am most proud of is the confidence in the control I have that I gained. I reminded myself I CAN do hard things, and GOOD things that help me stay healthy for my babies. My motto for 2020 is to control the controllable, so this just seemed fitting to end the year with!


A few misconceptions about this detox:
- It is just supplements- it is actually daily supplements and a full meal plan that guides you through 3 phases of healing your gut inside and out
- It is minimal food and you’ll be hungry- the portions are actually HUGE and the food is delicious and many recipes we are keeping as a staple rotation into our weeks
